Hi everyone
Here is a pot that I have finished making today!
Im really pleased with the shape and the kneck on the piece. I have just got to turn the bottom of the piece now. Tomorrow Im aiming to go even bigger with my pots! :)
I will post some more pictures of my pots from tomorrow on here in the next couple of days.
Tomorrow is the last day of Artist open house!
My inspiration comes from my local surroundings within the Kent countryside. I work from lots of organic forms including plants, textures, seed pods, sea pods, bark, flowers and a huge variety of other forms.

Mixed colours using Marino wool.
I revisited some ideas that I did at university , and thought it would be great to do a small set of pods aswell as a big one. These will have felt strands that go through the middle.

Crysanthemum flower!!
I have just acquired a beautiful Crysanthemum but not sure exactly what type it is as there are lots of varietys. The colour and structure of the flower really caught my eye and I thought this would be great to draw from and make in ceramics. I will post some piccys when I have made it as at the moment Im really busy with making other pieces for artist open house.
Below is the Crysanthemum.
